"Spring" "Summer" "Fall" and "Winter" are the 4 new eps from Switchfoot's frontman.Jon Foreman from Switchfoot drops by to talk about his 4 seasonally titled acoustic EPs released earlier this year, and play some of those songs and some unreleased material too. In the year ahead, expect new projects from both Switchfoot and another side project, Fiction Family, done along with Nickel Creek's Sean Watkins.

"Recovery" finds LW3 recovering some of his earliest classics. Wainwright's WebsiteThis week Loudon Wainwright III joins us for the second time this year. Back in January he told us about the "Knocked Up" soundtrack called "Strange Weirdos," done with producer Joe Henry.
This time, it's another collaboration with Joe on LW3's "Recovery," revisiting some of Loudon's earliest songs, but updated with Henry's stellar band. Wainwright also talks about the next project, which will feature Rufus, Martha and Lucy!

KaiserCartel make their debut with "March Forth."Courtney Kaiser and Benjamin Cartel make up the band KaiserCartel, and the duo will be our in-studio guests this week. Making their full-length debut in June with "March Forth," Ben and Courtney talk about quitting their day jobs as schoolteachers and recording with producer Matt Hales (Aqualung) on the new album.

Musically challenging, lyrically fascinating, Sam Phillips and her band do a lot on "Don't Do Anything."We're honored to have Sam Phillips join us in the studio for songs from her newest, "Don't Do Anything." After her split with husband/producer T Bone Burnett, Sam took on the production chores for the new album, and talks about the experience, continued collaboration with Burnett and more. Additionally, she brought her stellar band for the appearance, including Jay Bellerose, Ted Reichman and multi-instrumentalist Eric Gorfain!

After 25 years, james Hunter finally is getting his due.British blue-eyed soulster James Hunter makes a solo acoustic appearance for some songs from his newest "The Hard Way." James talks about working with Allen Toussaint on the new record, as well as his early days busking, and the rough time in his career from '01 to his reemergence with the acclaimed "People Gonna Talk" disc in '06.

Although they've been a band since 2002, DM3's Cooper McBean, Pete Bernhard and Lucia Turino haven't done much touring outside of their west coast base. But things have changed since the re-issue of their self-titled debut (Milan, 2007), and The Devil Makes Three tells us the story!
