  • Kent County Republicans reportedly put attack ad against Barack Obama on air

    by The Grand Rapids Press
    Wednesday May 14, 2008, 1:31 PM

David Freddoso of the Corner, the National Review's political blog, reports a Republican attack ad against Barack Obama will air in Grand Rapids for his visit to Van Andel Arena. The final image of the 2-minute ad credits the video to the Kent County Republican Committee. It says Obama is elite and tries to link him to rogue states.

We would like to know if you see the ad on TV.

    Elitist?

Barack Obama's family is from KANSAS People! His Grandfather fought in Patton's army! his white single mother was on food stamps at one point! He worked as a community organizer on the streets of Chicago! Wake up America this kind of propaganda will screw us once again!

This is more than a smear...it's SLANDER.

Hamas? Another way for the GOP to simmer the American people in FEAR so we can suffer through 4 more years of George Bush policies....

Clearly obvious from this commercial, Republicans lack any new ideas and have no faith in their candidate McCain, instead using fear which after Bush's 8 years has worn out it's welcome.
I found this commercial more humorous than anything else!
Barack......instead, I welcome you to West Michigan and please understand, not all of us here in West Michigan represent the views in this commercial!

The Kent County GOP is a disgrace. Let's waive the flag and say everything is well.

    1. We are going broke as a country.
    2. The dollar is crashing
    3. Government spending is out of control
    4. Our military is spread thin through out the country.
    5. our civil liberties are being attacked under the disguise of public safety.

The GOP could have talked about these important issues but of course the GOP record is a disgrace on this issues.

I won't be supporting Obama for policy reasons, but to attack him for these reasons is a joke.

I am so tired of political parties and candidates slinging mud at the other guy - instead of telling us how they are going to solve the countries problems.

Of course the GOP wouldn't tell us their ideas and goals -just look at the last 8 years - McSame is just four more years of Bush.

But they can attack the other guy who might just be trying to make things better.

way to go GOP - just keep waving that flag - I
will be putting my x next to Obama's name in November!
