Numbers good for Flushing Walleye Festival anglers

FLUSHING -- Warmer weather created good conditions for anglers competing in last weekend’s Flushing Walleye Festival. Forty-three entrants submitted 104 walleye for the three weighs-ins during the three-day festival in downtown Flushing. That total was second to last year’s total catch of 154. Flushing School Board hires Tim Stein as new superintendent

FLUSHING, Michigan -- Flushing Schools assistant superintendent Tim Stein was promoted to the district's top spot on Tuesday, replacing the retiring Barbara Goebel.
