Macomb County election results: Voters approve proposals, re-elect mayors

Voters in Macomb County said yes to two major proposals, one of which calls for the election of a single executive to oversee day-to-day operations of the county. Here's a look at some of the most interesting results:
- County Home Rule Charter Proposal: More than 60 percent of voters approved the charter proposal that calls for an elected executive and a halving of the board of comissioners. (More)
- County Road Commission Proposal: Voters approved a plan to dissolve the Road Commission of Macomb County and fold it into the county government. (More)
- Center Line Mayor: Councilman David Hanselman ousted incumbent Mary Ann Zielinski. (More)
- Mt. Clemens Mayor: Mayor Barb Dempsey defeated Steven Ferdig for a two-year term. (More)
- New Haven Proposal: Voters passed a 30-year $10 million bond upgrade to the city's water supply. (More)
