  • A look inside: Three Boathouse condos join Holiday Housewalk

by Janet I. Martineau | Times News Service
    Tuesday December 02, 2008, 9:58 AM

Kuhn Young groups the art in his home for an attractive look. These pieces hang in the kitchen, while another is visible through the doorway into the dining room. The Kuhn Young and Julie Bailey residence, at 39 State Park Drive, is among the Bay City homes featured in the upcoming Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra Holiday Housewalk.

Three condos in The Boathouse complex in Bay City and a bed and breakfast in Saginaw Township are on the list for the 2008 Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra Holiday Housewalk.

The Boathouse, 1111 N. Water St., is just what its name implies - a former marina, boat sales and storage facility on the Saginaw River waterfront converted into luxury condos.

And James and Patricia Hess named their business Cousins Bed & Breakfast after daughter Amy and her cousin Ann, who were as close as sisters.

Sponsored by Meijer, this year's event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 4 and includes the added option of lunch or dinner at the Saginaw Country Club, 4465 Gratiot Road, or the Bay City Country Club, 7255 S. Three Mile Road.

A bus will operate between all the sites and stop for lunch.
